Win-Rate Calculator: Power User Guide

The calculator transforms raw logs into actionable insights—track streaks, detect unfair shuffles, and measure improvement after training blocks. Follow the steps below to make sure your data is clean before you hit “Analyze”.

Prepare Your Data

Export CSV logs from Solitaire.org, Solitaired, or MobilityWare. Include columns for date, variant, win/loss, and time to completion.
Download our normalisation template to tidy column headers.
For mobile-only apps, record 20 matches manually before switching to automated exports.

Run the Calculator

Load your CSV into the web tool, choose the variant, and select the time window you want to assess. The chart shows your win percentage plus the expected variance range (±2σ). When the trend line slips outside that band, it is time to review gameplay or investigate shuffle bias.

What the Metrics Mean

Confidence Band: Highlights when your win rate is statistically unusual.
Momentum Score: Blend of recent wins and average completion time.
Variant Split: See whether Spider, FreeCell, or Klondike is silently dragging the average down.
